NDIS Rostering & Client Engagement Officer
* Employment Status: Part Time (30 hours per week)

* Report to: Managing Director/Executive Manager
The NDIS Rostering & Client Engagement Officer plays a vital role in coordinating support services, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining compliance across CNSA services. This role supports both NDIS and non-NDIS participants by creating accurate, timely rosters and ensuring all administrative, documentation, and service delivery requirements are met.
Working closely with Executives, CNSA support workers, support coordinators, stakeholders, participants and their families. The officer will ensure high-quality supports through effective rostering, client engagement, compliance management, and the accurate handling of participant data. A strong understanding of the NDIS, disability support, safeguarding principles, and recovery-oriented practice is essential.

Rostering & Workforce Coordination
* Complete all rostering tasks for NDIS and non-NDIS support services to ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery.
* Match support workers to participants based on compatibility, skills, preferences, and support requirements.
* Ensure all shifts are finalised daily and ready for timesheet approvals.
* Adjust rosters promptly in response to cancellations, changes, or unforeseen events.
* Maintain accurate data to ensure maximum NDIS claim-ability and compliance with funding rules.
Client Engagement & Service Delivery:
* Act as a first point of contact for participants, families, and stakeholders regarding service delivery and rostering updates.
* Work 1:1 with all participants to support their goal achievement through in-home or community-based engagement.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with families, guardians, and external providers.
* Provide regular communication to support coordinators, participants, guardians and team members regarding service delivery status.
* Contribute to the development and monitoring of service agreements, budgets, and case files.
Compliance, Documentation & Administration
* Review, track, and maintain all staff compliance documents including WWCC/NDIS Worker Screening, Police Checks, First Aid/CPR, training records, and certifications.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards and CNSA policies.
* Manage software data entry, ensure participant, and staff records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
* Support government reporting requirements and internal audits.
* Ensure incident documentations, risk management practices, and safeguarding procedures are adhered to.
* Regularly evaluate personal performance and engage in ongoing professional development.
Team Collaboration & Organisational Support
* Work closely with the executive managers & the rest of CNSA staffs to support recovery-oriented and capacity-building participation activities.
* Participate in staff meetings, internal development sessions, and organisational activities.
* Support CNSA's rotating after-hours and weekend on-call roster to assist support workers and participants in urgent situations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement processes and identify opportunities to enhance participant outcomes.
* Promote and model CNSA's Purpose, Values, Code of Conduct, and diversity and equity principles.
* Uphold all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and maintain a safe, infection-free work environment.
Experience & Qualifications
Essentials:
* Experience within the NDIS or disability sector.
* Demonstrated skills in rostering, client engagement, or service coordination.
* Experience working with people with psychosocial, intellectual, and physical disabilities.
* Strong understanding of recovery-oriented and capacity-building approaches.
* High level of computer proficiency, including client relationship management (CRM)/rostering database (visual care) and Microsoft Office.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving capability.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* SA Working with Vulnerable People check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable:
* Understanding of NDIS processes, compliance, incident reporting, and quality standards.
* Certificate III (or higher) in Business, Administration, Community Services, or related fields.
* Ability to work outside normal business hours as required.
* Demonstrated commitment to CNSA's Purpose, Values, and ethical standards.
Conditions of Employment
* For Satisfactory National Police Check.
* Ongoing maintenance of WW CC/NDIS Worker Screening.
* Agreement to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
