About The Role:
* You will support a team responsible for managing travel and accommodation services for the Copper South Australia Asset.
* Key finance and budget management activities will be your responsibility, focusing on People Logistics and Travel Management.
* You will contribute to travel forecasting and modelling to support BaU Operations, Projects, and medium to longer-term strategic inputs.
* Shutdown and project mobilisation travel scheduling and end-to-end travel management will be another key aspect of your job.
* Accommodation and transport bookings and service optimisation will be critical to your success.
* You will engage with regional customers across all areas of workforce, community, and contract business partners.
* Improvement opportunities to People Logistics processes will be identified and implemented by you.
* You will support the development and adherence to Company policies and guidelines related to travel and accommodation.
* Third-party accommodation requirements will be engaged in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.
* You will review, analyse, and support accommodation constraints through prioritisation and appropriate utilisation of assets.
* People Logistics technology suite management, user management, vendor liaison, enhancements, and development will be part of your responsibilities.
* Travel disruption management and recovery will be supported by you.
* Strong working relationships with stakeholders will be established by you.
* Frontline People Logistics team coaching and mentoring will be done in collaboration with the Supervisor/Superintendent.
About You:
* You must be able to influence and mentor others in health and safety principles and behaviours.
* Experience with travel booking systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
* Tertiary qualifications in finance or business and/or equivalent experience are desirable.
* Exposure to other logistics management systems within similar industries and/or strong knowledge of the resource industry and exposure to FIFO travel and accommodation processes is an advantage.
* Highly developed change management skills and culture building capabilities are essential.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills and the ability to engage across a range of levels are necessary.
* Analytical problem solver who demonstrates business acumen, with the ability to focus and prioritise critical deliverables to provide timely insights to stakeholders through the use of quality data analytics.
* Demonstrate effective and highly influential diverse customer engagement including an ability to constructively challenge ideas and build trusted relationships.
* You must be a self-motivator who can drive performance and excellence from your direct reports while providing a safe and collaborative work environment where inclusion and culture are of the utmost importance.
* The ability to work well as part of a team and remain calm under pressure, adapt in a high-paced dynamic environment, and execute Business Continuity Plans.
