Your new company
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead radio-related projects within a major enterprise network modernisation program. This role will deliver next-generation Voice Over IP (VOIP) VHF Radio capability, replacing legacy systems and aligning with core network rollout activities. You will manage delivery in accordance with established project and technology management frameworks, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver VHF radio projects within agreed scope, time, and budget.
* Plan and coordinate work packages, dependencies, and resources with engineering teams.
* Manage technical resources and monitor progress of deliverables.
* Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
* Report on project status and escalate issues as required.
* Maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience managing technical projects in a regulated environment.
* Previous Defence or Aviation is essential.
* Strong background in VHF radio services and associated monitoring systems.
* Experience in rollout of radio services across geographically dispersed sites.
* Familiarity with emerging communications technologies
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
* Australian Citizen.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance
