Client Support:
* Provide safe, caring, and culturally appropriate support tailored to each client's strengths and needs.
* Assist with personal care, domestic tasks (including yard work), social support, and transport as per shift and support plans.
* Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours while maintaining client dignity.
* Respect and maintain client and staff confidentiality.
Operational Duties:
* Follow daily shift plans and support documents accurately.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment following OH&S standards.
* Identify and manage risks and hazards during duties.
Organisational Commitment:
* Uphold GLDS values, policies, and service agreements with external providers.
* Promote effective communication within the team.
* Participate in performance appraisals and professional development.
Administrative Tasks:
* Maintain accurate records including client notes, communication books, and reports.
* Support data collection and reporting processes in line with organisational standards.
Team Involvement:
* Attend meetings, supervision, and training as directed.
* Perform shift duties as rostered.
* Assist with other tasks and special duties when required.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
