About The Role
We are proud to represent this iconic Brisbane luxury hotel, recently reopened after a major refit, seeking an experienced Conference & Events Operations Manager to start early next year. You will lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences across a diverse range of corporate and social events.
This key role within one of Australia's most respected hotel groups offers the opportunity to reach the peak of your profession and further grow within a large international hotel group.
As a key leadership position overseeing the operational delivery of all conferences, meetings and weddings, you will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Events division to ensure every event is executed to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a large team
Oversee all C&E operations to ensure seamless and polished event delivery
Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing Events teams for planning and execution
Maintain consistently high service standards that align with luxury guest expectations
Drive efficiency, team training, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
Strong background in Conference & Events operations within a luxury hotel or high-end venue
Proven ability to manage large teams in a high-volume, guest-focused environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with sales and planning teams
Leadership capability to guide, support and develop a young and enthusiastic team
Composure and professionalism under pressure
