We are looking for a Superintendent to manage a small team, ensuring the reliability and availability of a surface and underground mine's associated infrastructure assets and equipment.
You will have the capability to provide direction to multidisciplinary teams within the Non Process Infrastrucutre (NPI) maintenance scope.
This is an ongoing role and can be casual or through your own ABN/Business.
Experience safely leading a maintenance team through planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Set and clearly communicate targets and expectations aligned with the department's values.
Ability to lead, coach and mentor employees to deliver on plan and build a highly functional team.
Sound experience with contract and contractor management.
High level of organisational skills, able to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple work fronts.
Current Australian C class manual drivers licence.
Robust safety leadership skills and a history of field leadership participation.
Well-developed understanding of maintenance practices across infrastructure assets and equipment.
Preferably hold a Mechanical or Electrical Trade or have site experience in a similar role with solid mechanical and electrical know-how.
Project Management experience & Frontline Management Qualifications would be an advantage.
Supervisors' Qualifications would be very well regarded.
Some computer knowledge and skills.
Have demonstrated ability to use initiative, be self-directed, and work under minimal supervision.
Experience in performance management.
An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a desire to develop and learn.
