Salary scale: £33,247 - £41,424 pro rata per annum
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Violence & Aggression Prevention Team. This post is open to applicants of all grades.
Responsibilities
You will deliver Violence & Aggression training and education, promoting a safe and person centred approach to practice across the HSCP contributing to the reduction of risk and severity of incidents of Violence & Aggression. You will be part of a team responsible for the day to day delivery of the Violence & Aggression and Lone Worker training. You will deliver training across the HSCP in a variety of settings to a variety of disciplines.
Qualifications
The successful post holder will have experience of delivering care in a health / social care setting. Excellent communication skills are essential as is a positive working knowledge of Microsoft office, Microsoft teams and other software. The successful candidate will require to hold a current accreditation as a Violence and Aggression trainer with the GSA, however training is available. The candidate will be required to hold a full UK driving licence.

Interview schedule and training
Please note the interviews will be held on the week of the 19th January 2026 with an expected start date of the beginning of March 2026, dependent upon qualifications of successful candidate and availability of training. The successful candidate will be expected to attend GSA training (if not already trained), which is a 3 week course requiring a stay out with the HSCP area.
