Purpose
A unique opportunity to receive on‑the‑job training from some of the best. As an insurance claims professional, you will play a crucial role in disaster recovery following catastrophic events such as earthquakes, fire, cyclones, cyber‑attacks and tsunamis.
Key Accountabilities
* Support loss adjusting activities for the business with assigned supervisor(s).
* Receive new instructions, triage and allocate claims in accordance with McLarens guidelines.
* Attend site meetings and document claim assessment, including capturing evidence.
* Proactively manage contractors in line with client service level agreements.
* Draft documentation to manage key stakeholders throughout the claim.
* Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure data integrity within business systems.
* Research, analyse and interpret complex information from a range of sources.
* Compile and maintain data spreadsheets, reconcile invoices to monitor claim costs.
* Provide excellent customer service to key stakeholders via site visits, emails, phone, and remote meetings.
* Complete both desktop and on‑site investigations, requiring regular travel.
* Assist with marketing and account management for key clients.
* Undertake projects and other ad‑hoc work as required.
* Participate in required training sessions, seminars, and activities as directed by your supervisor.
* Work towards the achievement of an AICLA qualification (reimbursed as per policy).
* Complete satisfactory learning objectives as outlined at the commencement of the traineeship.
Experience and Qualifications
* Nil
* Working towards completion of a tertiary qualification in Law, Accounting/Commerce, Engineering or similar may be advantageous.
