**Position Summary**
The Marketing Manager role is a pivotal member of the Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role assists in managing all matters related to media and public relations, social media marketing, traditional and digital marketing, collateral and content creation and brand partnerships.
You will be inspired to activate marketing briefs across our departments as well as execute brand initiatives, assist with managing deliverables and will constantly pushing the boundaries ensuring marketing strategies exceed all expectations and deliver objectives as set out in the annual marketing plan. Your ideas will be welcomed and encouraged, and this is where you will really unleash your potential and bring those big ideas to life.

**The Role**
Overall
- Assist and provide support to Director of Marketing & Communications with a variety of general marketing, brand and administrative tasks
Brand
- Assist in the design, production and distribution of all sales and marketing collateral and templates internally and externally to brand guidelines using Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Professional and Microsoft PowerPoint/Word
- Assist Director of Marketing & Communications to drive exciting collaborations/brand partnerships and build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including creative agencies, PR agencies and suppliers
- Work with businesses in the local area to develop partnerships, special promotions and co-branding opportunities
PR/Media/Advertising
- Assist with event coordination, campaign management and execution
- Develop and maintain a complete database of local and international press, media and local marketing contacts
- Co-ordinate the monthly report of hotel's PR/Media exposure and distribute the key internal stakeholders
Digital/Social
- Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns including effective planning, content creation and coordination
- Monthly news about spa, restaurants and rooms to be promoted via local database EDM's
- Regular review on hotel website to ensure web pages are correct and hotel information appears as per the brand standards
Financial
- Demonstrate good financial management for marketing budgets ensuring spend is delivering a return on investment
- Follow up and create purchase orders and invoices for the marketing department
- Manage the tracking of all complimentary nights by the marketing department
**Talent Profile**
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or relevant discipline preferred
- Adobe InDesign Certification highly regarded
- 2-3 years' experience in a Marketing & Communications role
- Sound understanding of traditional/digital/social media marketing
- Previous experience within luxury brand/hospitality/travel sectors advantageous
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe InDesign/Acrobat Professional essential
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop highly regarded
- Copywriting experience highly regarded
- Valid working rights in Australia
