**Job Overview**

We have a unique opportunity to join our rural sales team servicing customers across a vast and diverse territory. The ideal candidate will be based in Geraldton or Perth, with responsibilities covering the Hyden area to Carnarvon, encompassing the Wheatbelt, Midwest, Gascoyne regions.

The successful applicant will work to build strong relationships with rural retailers, helping them achieve better business outcomes. This involves collaborating with farmers, fencing contractors, government bodies, and industry groups to drive growth and expansion.

This role entails:

- Maximizing sales revenue, margin, and volume of rural products through extensive contact with end users, distributor clients, and key influencers of buying decisions
- Developing sales plans required to achieve sales targets and monitoring market trends
- Achieving sales targets
- Influencing large contractors, end users, and other key stakeholders by articulating product benefits, demonstrating these products, and providing training
- Preparing proposals and detailed costings in consideration of environmental factors and encouraging purchase of higher-margin products


**Key Requirements**

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- An agricultural-related qualification (desirable but not essential)
- A genuine passion for farming, which is paramount for success
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups
- A positive attitude and drive to succeed
- Extensive training in the demonstration of a wide range of products will be provided
- Demonstrate a passion for generating new business opportunities and leads is essential
- You'll be a self-starter, willing to travel, and be away from home regularly, with a valid driver's license
