Overview
Primary Location NSW - Rockdale. ConnectSydney are on the hunt for an ITS/Electrical Works Scheduler to join our Rockdale team! ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure. The ITS (Intelligent Transport System) / Electrical Works Scheduler will be responsible for providing optimised programming/scheduling for the project overall from conversion through to delivery. The role coordinates daily workloads, monitors progress and implements contingency plans to meet performance targets. It also fosters collaboration across field staff, Customer and Operations centre staff, Work Supervisors and Customer & Stakeholder teams while driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and forecasting of workloads for ITS and work crews.
* Develop and maintain programs for ITS Maintenance, including planned maintenance, minor upgrades, fault and incident response and repairs across a diverse range of asset classes and roadside electrical and electronic equipment.
* Ensure Work Order details align with allocated resources and are achievable, optimising sequencing to minimise customer impacts.
* Ensure all KPI-related jobs are scheduled and delivered on time, in line with contractual and performance obligations.
* Develop strong relationships with:
o Delivery team to ensure successful delivery of all Work Orders
o Environmental team to understand work, client and NSW environmental standards
o Customer and Stakeholder teams to understand customer obligations
* Liaise with field staff, Customer and Operations centre staff, Work Supervisors and Customer & Stakeholder team.
* Preparation of accurate estimates to complete work assigned as requested.
* Regularly review existing processes and look for process improvements.
Qualifications
* Previous industry experience necessary (ITS / Electrical background and experience).
* Electrical license.
* Current driver's licence.
* A minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a similar role.
* Demonstrated understanding of TfNSW Road Maintenance and ITS Asset Management systems and Network works delivery.
* Experience working on TfNSW electrical, electronic and communications assets.
