About the Client
Our client is a leading Sydney‐based property development and construction group delivering high‐quality residential and mixed‐use rent projects that shape great urban communities. With an expanding pipeline across NSW, they are seeking a driven and capable Project Engineer to join its growing construction team.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily delivery of high quality and on‐time construction projects, ensuring completion to documented drawings, specifications and nominated timeframes.
* Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of construction works.
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultants on site.
* Monitor construction programmes, procurement schedules and project milestones.
* Review construction drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation.
* Resolve technical issues and contribute to value engineering initiatives.
* Oversee quality control across site activities.
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and statutory requirements.
* Support site safety systems, inspections and reporting.
* Support project reporting, progress claims and cost tracking.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Assist the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager with day‐to‐day project administration as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Project Engineer in the successful delivery of new‐build projects.
* Experience in internal fit‐out is ideal.
* Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards.
* Strong project financial reporting skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Well‐developed interpersonal skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
