About the role
At MercyCare we believe every child is a unique person and we work to bring out their special qualities and strengths. Join our experienced Early Learning team as an Assistant Educator on a casual basis at our Heathridge centre. You'll assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of programs for individual children and groups while recording observations and implementing routines.
Our Heathridge service is like a small community and has that family friendly feel, with long standing staff who are there to support your journey. In the spacious natural play area, children can climb trees, run free, and explore the world around them—and you'll be a part of every moment of their learning and growth.
About you
You'll be looking for a role that leaves you feeling fulfilled every day and a passion for supporting children to develop their physical, language, cognitive, social and emotional skills.
In addition, you will also possess:
* Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care
* The ability to engage in structured play-based learning with children
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Current HLTAID012 and CPR, or be willing to obtain one
* Working With Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
