KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Business Development (Selling Refurbished Devices)
Identify and develop current business opportunities with clients, including corporations, government institution and resellers.
Build and maintain solid relationships with key decision makers in IT procurement, finance and operations departments.
Present and promote refurbished devices solutions to meet client’s needs emphasizing cost savings, quality and sustainability.
With support from the General Manager, negotiate contract, pricing and service agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction and after-sales support
Device Sourcing and Procurement (Acquiring Used Devices)
Develop and implement strategies to acquire used devices from the market (e.g. local/international traders, enterprise, direct from customer etc), including bulk buyback initiatives or trade-in programs.
Engage with market traders, IT asset managers, procurement teams, and sustainability officers to position and establish buy back channels.
With support from the General Manager, asses the value of the used devices, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate logistics, testing and refurbishment processes.
Market Research and Strategy
Analyse market trends, competitors’ activities, and customer needs to refine sales and sourcing strategies.
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategies for expanding the enterprise customer base.
Partnership & Relationship Management
Build long-term partnerships with clients and partners to encourage repeat business for selling and acquiring devices.
Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
KEY QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, supply chain or related field
8+ years’ experience in business development, sales or procurement preferably in the refurbished electronics, IT and telecommunication sector.
Proven track record or meeting or exceeding sales and sourcing targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain robust relationships with clients and partners
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess device value and market demand
Self-motivated, results orientated and capable of working independently.
