The Family: An easy-going but busy family of five, soon to be six, with three young children and a baby on the way. The children are active, curious, and social – with school, kindy, and home routines to balance. The family values kindness, manners, honesty, and creating a positive environment with clear boundaries. Days & hours: 30–40 hours per week Flexibility for the right candidate Start date: from 1st December 2025 (or sooner if available) A typical day will include: Helping with school and kindy drop-offs and pick-ups Preparing lunches and supporting morning routines Organising fun, engaging activities for the children (crafts, water play, outings, etc.) Supervising the newborn for short periods so mum can have one-on-one time with the older kids Light household support such as emptying the dishwasher, folding washing, tidying children’s rooms, and cleaning up after kids’ activities (a cleaner attends twice weekly for heavier housework) Location: Tamahere, Waikato The family’s dream nanny: Someone experienced, reliable, and genuinely engaged with children. A bonus if you have an Early Childhood Education (ECE) background, though it’s not essential. The ideal nanny is kind, proactive, and fun, with a passion for creating activities that keep the kids busy and happy, while also lending a hand around the home.
