Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant
A key member of our team is sought to provide effective support in planning and purchasing activities.
* Job Description:
* Work closely with production and warehouse teams, as well as site personnel reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
* Conduct planning and purchasing activities to ensure all customer requirements for a reliable supply of product are met.
* Update production schedules to align sales forecasts, plant capabilities, inventory, raw material supply, and maintenance.
* Collaborate with managers (Production Manager, Quality Manager, Engineering Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Customer Service) for detailed machine scheduling and monitor production output, inventory, customer orders, and material supplies.
* Review delivery schedules, conduct weekly/monthly resin forecast reviews, and manage manufacturing orders and labor requirements.
* Assist in the sites inventory stocktake schedule.
* Responsible for purchasing all production components and site consumables.
* Create and track purchase orders, communicate ETAs for incoming materials, and maintain purchasing records.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years' experience in a Planning leadership role within a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with SAP or any similar system.
* Personal drive and results-orientation.
* Ability to work outside standard hours when required.
* Visible belief and demonstrated leadership in a Zero Harm culture.
* Ability to remain resilient, calm, and composed under pressure.
