Job Description
* Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
* Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including on-boarding and induction programs.
* Step up and lead the team as 2IC when the HR Manager is away.
* Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.
* Coordinate and deliver training and development initiatives for staff.
* Guide performance, conduct, and grievance processes.
* Ensure compliance with workplace laws and internal policies.
* Manage apprentices and trainees in partnership with managers and training providers
* Coordinate visa processing and seasonal workforce programs
* Support well being initiatives and team events
The Successful Applicant
* Relevant qualifications in human resources or at least 3 years of hands on experience.
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Experience in a high-end hospitality or resort setting is highly regarded.
* Comfortable having tough conversations and managing ER issues
* Personable, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment
* Knowledge of Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Privacy and Training.
* Ready to relocate and embrace the lifestyle.
* Current driver's license.
