The Bariatric and Upper GI Fellowship is a unique opportunity for a newly qualified surgeon to enhance their skills in elective and emergency surgery, as well as outpatient surgical consultations.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in clinical and research work, including provision of bariatric surgery and perioperative care.
* Assist with the educational role of the department and provide clinical care to patients.
* Attend bariatric outpatient clinics to gain knowledge on assessment and management.
Candidates will work with specialist surgeons and registrars appointed to the region for a 12-month period and may also support other sites within the health district.
