Setting precious stones especially diamonds and gemstones in various size and shapes
Secure precious stones in settings, ensuring proper retention and final settings' smoothness
Assess designs and specifications jewellery precious metals such as gold and platinum
Utilize specialized hand and power tools to shape, cut, file, beat, turn, and bend molded metal
Perform repairs on jewelry items by soldering, replacing, and rebuilding worn or broken parts
Restyle old jewelry pieces to enhance their appeal and meet customer preferences
Qualification:
Jewellery setting experience, especially setting diamond and gemstone - working with high-end and/or one-of-a-kind jewellery.
Experience working with Platinum, all types of gold, Palladium
Extensive experience working with diverse gemstones/diamonds in terms of quality shape and size
Master in bead, channel, prong and pave setting
Professional work ethic demonstrative of exceptional customer service, compliance with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, confidentiality, security; attendance.
Technical understanding of polishing and setting jewellery manufacturing techniques.
Must be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and willing to change responsibilities within the department as needed by the business.
Significant experience with performing and troubleshooting jewellery repairs.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
