In this role, you'll work in support of our Global Marketing Content Manager to ideate, create, and unleash captivating social content for our market leading moidules, particularly on Instagram and TikTok. You'll have a strategic focus on crafting content that not only resonates with our audience but also cuts through the digital noise. Your goal is to propel engagement, fuel business growth, amplify brand awareness and rally customer advocacy through innovative and attention-grabbing storytelling.
This will be a hybrid role, ideally working 2 days a week at our Sydney office in Leichhardt.
**The role**
- Seize the reins and turn our current social media content on its head, pushing engagement boundaries to heights never reached before.
- Take charge of both social content creation and strategy for our cutting-edge learning modules shaping the online presence of a beloved education brand.
- Spark collaboration with the content team and global marketing team to churn out fresh, relatable, and downright entertaining ideas that are quick to implement and captivate our audience.
- Obsess over the latest trends and algorithm updates, mastering the art on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- Prepare insightful reports on tactics, engagement rates and the overall performance of social content weekly and monthly.
- Utilise an annual budget to arrange delightful user-generated content, boost posts and execute crowd-pleasing competitions and giveaways.
- Supervise the day-to-day responsibilities of the Social Media Executive who is based in Bristol, UK, meeting with them weekly within, or as close as possible to, UK office hours.
**What you will bring with you**:
- A minimum of 2 years in the social media arena, with an impressive track record ideally on Instagram and/or TikTok.
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of both Instagram and TikTok, and a firm handle on Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Proven success in not just growing followers but igniting engagement and creating content that pushes boundaries.
- An eagle-eyed attention to detail, organisational acumen, and the agility to ride the wave of trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative flair to make content stand out in a competitive environment.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to maintain a smart, engaging tone on social media.
- Proficiency in creating short-form video content for social media and proficiency in audio, video, and lighting knowledge.
