About the Role:
The Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner is a leadership position that reports directly to the Behaviour Support Team Lead.
This role provides leadership, support and supervision to the Behavioural Support Team, ensuring that high-quality services are provided to individuals.
The Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner will maintain a caseload and work with participants of all ages to assess and support those with behaviours of concern through individualised strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide behaviour support therapy to individuals and families according to the NDIS Commission Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
* Compile reports and letters for NDIS participants, other health professionals and NDIS reporting requirements.
* Maintain records following company policy and within expected timeframes that clearly document activities undertaken.
Operational Tasks:
* Support Behaviour Support Practitioners in their roles.
* Contribute to review and development of policies, procedures, processes and best practice guidance in consultation with the team.
* Regular participation in clinical supervision.
