Alfabs Mining is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager for an Immediate start to lead the development and operations of a new electrical workshop. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing electrical projects, overseeing compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery of overhaul and repair scopes. The Electrical Manager will lead a team of technicians, develop budgets, coordinate with mechanical teams, and liaise with clients to meet project requirements. The role also involves commissioning, diagnostics, and continuous improvement of electrical systems on mining equipment in line with AS/NZS 3800 standards. A strong background in mining equipment, team development, and operational excellence is essential.Key Responsibilities:Manage overhaul and post-hire repair scopes pertaining to major projects and electricalSchedule projects in conjunction with mechanical rebuild scopes and the Mining teamDevelop accurate costings and budgets for all electrical scopes, communicating them to managementPerform and schedule performance checks, machine condition assessments and maintenance inspectionsChampion a safety-first culture across the Mining Team.
