Role description: We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in mining, industrial and mineral processing projects. Our Client is currently executing several key projects and is seeking an experienced engineer to join the electrical team.
Role Responsibilities
Support the Lead EIC Designer and interface with other disciplines to develop/review drawings and related documentation.
Strong competencies in
MicroStation / Smart 3D
for:
2D Design
2D Design Layouts / SLD's / (220/33/6.6kV and 433V)
3D Modelling
Design experience in
iron ore handling plants.
Track deliverable status and provide progress updates to project leadership.
Ability to follow client standards and apply to specific solutions.
Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
Provide mentoring to less experienced engineers/designers.
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
Other duties as assigned.
A completed Tertiary engineering degree that is recognized by Engineers Australia.
Relevant industry experience with eligibility of MIEAust membership
EEHA qualifications and design experience is essential.
In-depth understanding of Functional Safety practices and solutions
Communicate effectively with management, team members, clients, vendors and other stakeholders to build strong relationships.
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
Understand project life-cycle requirements to provide robust guidance and solutions.
Experience in software design tools such as Smart Plant, Digsilent PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, CDEGS etc is desirable.
