Working inside the museum during operational hours (Thursday - Monday), you will be serving up and shaping the first impressions of MONA's guests. You will work alongside some of the country's finest food and beverage staff, delivering a world-class experience. You will help support the Void Bar manager and, with sustainability in mind, will present delicious food, fancy cocktails, exceptional wine (obviously), and the finest local craft beers.
**The Gig**:
- Support the Void bar team, leading by example- Support the business by drawing on your knowledge and experience of classic cocktails and bar day-to-day operations- Be motivated, and motivational - your attitude and experience is what counts- Working with the Void team and using your knowledge to contribute to some seriously cool upcoming projects- Be prepared for crafting individual cocktails for one, and festival-sized cocktails for the masses- Kick some eco-friendly goals by maintaining sustainable strategies already in place- Maintain equipment and stock inventories and regularly perform stock takes- Good availability and flexibility over 4 operational days (Friday - Monday) and operational hours (9 am - 5 pm)
**The You**:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years bar experience in a similar role- Interest and passion for sustainability- Interest in creating low proof drinks with a produce focus- Barista skills and experience preferred- Excellent classic cocktail, craft beer, and local wine knowledge essential- A deep desire to deliver a first-class customer experience- Demonstrate excellent communication skills- Ability to nurture an environment where guests have their expectations exceeded- A positive and friendly attitude- RSA essential
