We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our friendly team at our West Perth head office. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on and provide crucial HR support to our senior management, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all our people-related activities.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the day-to-day heartbeat of our HR functions.
* Playing a key role in welcoming new talent by assisting with recruitment – from crafting engaging adverts to connecting with candidates, organising interviews, and preparing employment contracts.
* Keeping our employee records organised and up-to-date.
* Helping us understand our team better by preparing reports on staffing, recruitment, training, and more.
* Making our new starters feel right at home by assisting with inductions, training arrangements, and answering their questions.
* Contributing to a positive workplace by helping to update and review our HR policies.
* Working collaboratively with our external HR support agency.
What you’ll bring:
* Hands-on expertise with ELMO is highly desirable - especially in managing onboarding, training, compliance, and reporting features.
* Your eagerness to jump in and get started immediately.
* A foundational understanding of employment regulations.
* Comfort and confidence with computers and MS Office.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills – you’re great at keeping things on track!
* Clear and friendly communication skills, both written and spoken.
* The ability to work independently and take initiative.
