About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Support and Development team – Service and Identity Management Systems. You will play a key role in supporting enterprise corporate systems, including resolving issues, improving service delivery, and facilitating enhancements in a collaborative and technically diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve escalated technical and business issues from ICT Services and external service providers.
* Capture and communicate resolution information to relevant stakeholders effectively.
* Undertake system administration, monitoring, and maintenance activities related to the application and associated enterprise systems.
* Actively participate in incident, problem, change, and knowledge management processes.
* Develop, update, and deliver training packages and materials for system users.
* Facilitate the transition of identified workloads and services to the existing development team, including documentation and staff guidance.
* Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure transitioned services comply with established processes.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate business and systems requirements.
* Develop and maintain technical and business documentation including functional specifications and testing guides.
* Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members as required.
RequirementsKey Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience in business analysis including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
* Strong skills in business systems analysis and design within complex enterprise environments.
* Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality technical and business documentation .
* Experience in application testing, including the development of training and testing documentation.
* Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical information in a clear and user-friendly manner—both written and verbal.
* Demonstrated success working in collaborative team environments, including the ability to guide and support less-experienced staff.
* Experience working with third-party software vendors and managing vendor relationships effectively.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable Attributes:
* Familiarity with identity and access management systems.
* Experience working in government or highly regulated environments.
* Previous experience with knowledge base and ITSM toolsets.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Valid National Police Clearance (must be attached with application).
* Must have full working rights in Australia .
