The Surgery Department
Our department is known for its expertise in small animal surgery, with a focus on orthopaedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgical procedures. We have a state-of-the-art facility equipped with specialist-led diagnostic imaging suite, electrosurgical equipment, arthroscopy, endoscopy, electrochemotherapy, and access to radiation oncology.
As a Small Animal Surgery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive specialist referral surgical service to both our patients and referring clinicians from across Western Australia. You will also mentor and guide your colleagues, interns, and support staff while contributing to hospital and departmental activities such as journal clubs, M&M meetings, and initiatives to grow our surgical service.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualified Small Animal Specialist Surgeon, with Diplomate or equivalent status (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS)
* Experience in orthopaedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgery
* Excellent communication skills and a dedication to patient-centred care
