About the Role:
As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a key role in supporting our service department, trade clients, and retail customers. You’ll be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct parts in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
The Pacific Gympie Dealership Group with 3 dealership locations between Gympie and the Sunshine Coast and you will have access to all of our brands such as GWM, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Honda, Renault and JAC. The Pacific Gympie dealership group is family-owned and has been operating for over 20 years in the Gympie and Sunshine Coast region and provides jobs to over 90 people locally. You will be joining a friendly, and positive team who are passionate about all things automotive, achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and achieving high results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpreting customer and technician needs to identify the correct parts
* Managing inventory and stock levels
* Ordering parts from suppliers and manufacturers
* Processing sales and raising invoices
* Assisting walk-in customers and handling phone/email enquiries
* Collaborating with service and workshop teams to meet daily demands
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter (automotive industry preferred)
* Strong product knowledge and understanding of automotive components
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Familiarity with parts catalogues and Pentana DMS
* Certificate III in Automotive Sales - Parts Intepreting (desirable)
* A team player with a can-do attitude
