Job Details
The position of a surgical fellow within the breast surgery stream involves collaboration with consultant surgeons to provide an effective clinical service. The fellow will participate in daily care of acute surgical patients and emergency operating theatre schedules.
This role is primarily focused on breast clinic, MDT, and breast & endocrine surgery operating lists. Additionally, the fellow will be responsible for participating in a 24-hour on-call roster as the first point of contact, supported by a rostered-on call consultant.

Mandatory Requirements
* Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or recognised equivalent qualification.
* Hold (or be eligible for) Specialist Registration in General Surgery with the Medical Board of Australia at the commencement of employment.
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
