Overview
The role is a casual position initially with the opportunity to move to a permanent role. In this role you will provide specialised high-quality nursing care for critical patients in a rotating nurse position throughout daytime emergency, dentistry, ophthalmology, surgery and internal medicine, working closely alongside a team of veterinary specialists to ensure gold-standard patient care is achieved at all times.

Requirements for the role
- A nurse with a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technologist degree with a keen passion in gold standard patient care with at least 3 years previous clinical experience
- Experience in specialist or referral veterinary hospital is highly regarded
- A team player with a strong work ethic willing to support your fellow colleagues
- Skilled in problem solving and decision making
- A multi-tasker who can navigate within a busy, multidisciplinary workplace
- An organised nurse with high attention to detail
- Excellent animal handling skills, experience with anxious animals in the clinic environment
- Experience in a busy, fast-paced work environment
