Job description:

Are you a leading hand looking for a great company and crew to work with?

We're looking for a leading hand to join our rental workshop in Sherwood.

You'll lead and coordinate day-to-day workshop operations, supporting the Rental, Used Equipment and Construction teams.

The role oversees diagnostics, maintenance, repair and rebuild of Komatsu and earthmoving equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You'll prioritise tasks across multiple streams and make decisions to keep operations progressing.

Roster: Monday to Friday, or 4:3 compressed week (plus overtime)

Annualised Wages: Up to $52.94 per hour + overtime rates

Role Located: Sherwood, QLD

What we are looking for:

* Cert 3 Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent)

* Proven experience in a similar workshop leading hand or senior fitter role

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide a young team and support apprentices

* Technical expertise in construction and mining equipment, including diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds

* Demonstrated commitment to safety and promoting safe work practices in a busy workshop environment

* C class driver's licence
