**The Client**
Our client is a privately owned and progressive property group who owns a portfolio of Shopping Centres throughout Queensland. Our client is passionate about creating award-winning community spaces and currently requires an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic and motivated team.
**The Role**
The Retail Finance and Administration Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality support to enable accurate and informed decision-making for the successful performance of a shopping centre. Long term, this role provides the opportunity to take on wider responsibilities and progress your Finance career.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Daily rent collection and receipting
- Daily Bank Reconciliation
- Monthly & year-end closings
- Tenant reconciliation in line with lease terms
- Outgoings reconciliation and calculations
- Daily Chasing of tenant arrears
- Processing of purchase orders
- Assist in reviewing and answering P&L questions from management
- Weekly preparation of management reports
- Preparation of petty cash and expense claim forms
- Maintaining the casual lease tenant invoicing register.
**Key Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years experience within the **Property** sector
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding of the retail act, Leases and outgoings is highly looked upon
- Strong prioritisation and excellent time management skills
- Be a reliable team player and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Solid Excel skills
- Yardi/MRI Experience
