About the Role:
* Registered Architect (RA) required for this challenging position
* A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architecture is necessary
* Strong proficiency in Revit is essential; working knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite is preferred
* Expertise in construction documentation, detailing, and coordination is required
* Strong understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and technical standards is essential
* Ability to lead and mentor team members across disciplines and levels is crucial
* Experience in public, education, or healthcare architecture is highly valued
* Residency in Charlotte, NC or willingness to relocate is a requirement
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the production and coordination of design and construction documents
* Manage collaboration with consultants, contractors, and clients effectively
* Conduct thorough code research, quality control, and document reviews
* Guide project planning, design execution, and documentation strategies
* Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and punch lists
* Represent the firm during meetings, presentations, and site visits
* Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to standards and project milestones
