Weighbridge Operator - Recycling Yard
Location: Macquarie Park
Pay Rate: $45/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
About the Role: Seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join our recycling yard team who is also keen on operating loaders. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading materials onto trucks and truck & dog combinations, ensuring safe and efficient operations. If you hold the right licences and VOCs, you may also operate excavators and water carts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate weighbridge and liase with customers
* Operate front end loaders for material handling
* Load/unload materials onto trucks / truck & dogs
* Adhere strictly to all safety measures and council procedures
* Communicate effectively via two-way radio
* Assist with weighbridge operations (ideal but not essential)
* Operate excavator and water cart if HR licence and VOCs are held
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating loaders
* Weighbridge Operating Experience
* VOC (Verification of Competency) - essential
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Strong focus on safety and teamwork
* Good communication skills
