About the role

ABB Motion Services in Eagle Farm, Queensland is seeking an experienced Workshop Administrator who is eager to build a stable, long‐term career with a global industry leader. With over 40 years of experience we operate as Australia's ABB Traction Centre of Excellence, specialising in AC/DC traction motors and delivering testing, diagnostics, manufacturing, machining, repairs and full overhaul services. Supported by comprehensive on‐site machine and load‐testing facilities, we serve top‐tier customers nationwide and continue to set the benchmark for technical excellence.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the driving force behind workshop administration, you'll manage key SAP tasks, provide essential administrative support, maintain accurate records and databases, update Salesforce, prepare job costings, and assist with reporting—ensuring smooth, efficient operations across the Traction Workshop.

Model: Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:

* Documentation preparation — creating, compiling, proofreading, and editing reports, presentations, correspondence, and organisational materials.
* SAP administration — managing timesheets, job creation, invoicing, purchasing, job packs, job bookings, margin reports, and order release.
* Site administration support — key contact for all location‐based administrative activities.
* Process improvement — applying ABB procedures and collaborating with the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Records management — maintaining accurate electronic and hard‐copy filing systems, archives, and databases.
* Salesforce and reporting — updating entries, preparing job costings, and supporting WIP and financial reporting.
Qualifications for the Role
* SAP experience – minimum 2 years using SAP for timekeeping, payroll entries, and job‐related workflows.
* Salesforce capability – skilled in booking jobs, updating entries, and preparing quotations.
* Ariba proficiency – confident working with purchasing and supplier management systems.
* Technical software skills – strong understanding of product costing requirements and proficiency in Excel, Adobe, Word, and PowerPoint.
