The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport supports Western Australians by providing opportunities to reach their potential across creative industries, sport and recreation, tourism and multicultural interests. The department supports major events and infrastructure projects throughout WA, fosters a sustainable arts and cultural sector and promotes multiculturalism and the tourism industry.

Working closely with the Manager Stakeholder Engagement, the Project Officer will coordinate and deliver stakeholder engagement events, initiatives and projects in partnership with the Sport and Recreation team and other areas of CITS.

• Plan, coordinate and execute stakeholder engagement events, initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with the Sport and Recreation team and other CITS units to align engagement activities with departmental strategies.
• Maintain engagement records and produce post‐event reports and recommendations.
• Support the delivery of major events and infrastructure projects across WA.
• Communicate engagement outcomes to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
