Bakers Delight Cooranbong is seeking a qualified Baker to join our bakery team. The role involves preparing, baking and finishing a range of bread and bakery products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Key Duties
Preparing and baking bread, rolls and specialty bakery products
Measuring, mixing, kneading, moulding and shaping dough
Monitoring fermentation, proofing and baking processes
Operating and maintaining baking ovens and equipment
Decorating and finishing bakery products as required
Checking product quality and consistency
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering ingredients
Requirements
* Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent), or relevant industry experience
* Commercial bakery experience preferred
* Available for early starts, weekends and public holidays
* Strong attention to detail and product quality
* Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
* Good time management and organisation skills
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
* Reliable and punctual; able to follow standard procedures
* Stable full-time employment with a well-established bakery brand
