Senior Process Engineer - Water / Wastewater
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a track record in delivering projects involving water and/or wastewater treatment. You will lead a high-performing team and balance technical design, project management, client engagement, and business development in the Northern NSW region and beyond.
Responsibilities
Deliver a range of NSW, Australian and international water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring an in-depth understanding of client needs.
Use your technical, project management and client-relationship skills to provide delivery and technical guidance for proposals, investigations and detailed design projects.
Analyse client and project technical requirements, develop solutions and prepare technical reports, designs, specifications, and client proposals and presentations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, including business development and engagement throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
At least 8 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment process engineering, concept design and detailed design.
Strong client-relationship and project-management skills, with experience preparing winning proposals.
Design or planning expertise in water or wastewater treatment, including process design, technical reports, engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Experience with process-design software; plant hydraulics knowledge is highly desirable.
Project or design-management experience, and a willingness to mentor and direct junior staff.
Location & Hours
Role can be part-time or full-time, based in Newcastle or any of our other Northern NSW offices (Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Tuggerah, Tamworth, Orange or Lismore).
