Job Overview
The role of Assistant Store Manager is a key position in our retail organization. As a senior member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving store performance and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive store performance by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer experience.
* Monitor and analyze store sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly – celebrate wins and identify opportunities for growth.
* Manage rosters and optimize wage spend in line with operational efficiency.
* Coach and mentor team members, driving high morale, ongoing training, and succession planning.
* Oversee stock levels, store presentation, shrinkage control, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a senior casual, key holder, 3IC, or supervisor in a high-volume retail environment.
* Proven ability to lead a team and deliver strong results in sales and KPIs.
* A proactive, hands-on leader with a 'results-driven' mindset.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for coaching others.
* Operational know-how across stock management and visual merchandising.
* A genuine enthusiasm for customer experience and working with premium product.
