This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time role within an established Western Australian logistics company while developing your skills in administration and customer service.
As our Office Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot. You'll interact daily with drivers, visitors, and customers, providing exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming and assisting drivers, visitors, and customers in a professional manner
* Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing front counter service
* General administration and office support tasks
* Data entry, reporting, and transferring information into computer systems
* Preparing and reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance
* Scanning freight for depot management, collections, and drop-offs
* Liaising with Supervisors and Management to ensure accurate client information
As a successful candidate you will:
* Exceptional customer service skills with a professional, friendly approach
* A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Great time management and attention to detail
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confident data entry skills
* Experience with StarTrack, FedEx or TNT tracking systems (highly regarded, but not essential – full training provided)
