With corporate head offices in Singapore and the US, the local businesses are scattered throughout Australia. An opportunity has become available in their Castlemaine office to support one of the Business Units as an Accountant. About the role Reporting to the Accounting Manager your duties will include but not limited to the following Ensure all accounting and reporting activities are completed promptly and align with company policies and procedures. Prepare and manage supplemental disclosure reporting to meet internal and external requirements. Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in accounting processes, proposing and implementing enhancements to improve overall efficiency. Analyse account balances and activities to ensure accurate classification and reporting in financial records. Assist in the preparation of month-end journal entries and related financial information as needed. Examine quarterly financial records, providing explanations for variances compared to prior periods.
