Our client, a leading management consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Organisational Development Specialist to support large‐scale transformation programs across major corporates and government agencies in Australia.
These consultants will support high‐impact organisation design, operating model development, digital transformation, leadership, organisation development and change management.
The role involves collaborating closely with senior consulting leaders and client stakeholders to drive structured problem solving, facilitate workshops, shape design deliverables, and support end‐to‐end implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to operating model, organisation design, and structural transformation projects across public and private sector clients.
* Conduct current‐state assessments including organisational diagnostics, capability mapping, and structural reviews.
* Support the design of future‐state operating models, organisational structures, governance frameworks, role architecture, and workforce sizing approaches.
* Facilitate interviews, co‐design workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and other client engagement forums.
* Prepare high‐quality deliverables such as diagnostic summaries, design options, implementation roadmaps, and executive‐level presentations.
* Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure alignment across business units and leadership groups.
* Work closely with consulting leaders—taking direction where required while also owning structured workstreams.
* Provide hands‐on delivery support including analysis, documentation, stakeholder mapping, and change‐related activities.
Skills & Qualifications
* 5+ years' consulting experience.
* Experience in operating model or organisation design.
* Strong consulting toolkit, including structured problem solving, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, synthesis, and executive communication.
* Prior exposure across industries (government, FS, education, energy, telco, large corporates).
* Hands‐on delivery mindset – to support detailed analysis, documentation, and execution.
* Able to take direction, work collaboratively, and adapt to client methodologies and ways of working.
* Critical thinking ability, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, outcomes‐focused approach.
