Kumon Pakenham Education Centre offers students of all ages individualised study programs in mathematics and English. Currently, Kumon Pakenham has part-time and casual positions vacant. We are looking for assistants who want to help children experience the joy of learning and reach their full potential. Serious commitment to the job is mandatory.
Your duties will include:
* Mark students' class work and homework
* Keep study records up to date
* Motivate and encourage students
* Observe how students learn and share this with the team
* Guide students to develop strong study habits
* Provide feedback to students about their work and/or progress
* Communicate progress with our Kumon parents on a regular basis. Therefore excellent communication skills are essential
* Complete centre administration activities, such as worksheets ordering and completing students' reports on a monthly basis.

You must:
* Be proficient in maths and English
* Be a fast and eager learner
* Be responsible, organised and able to multi-task
* Have a genuine passion towards children education
* Be confident in communicating with children and parents
* Have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Available to work minimum 2 days a week ( Tuesdays & Fridays)

* Pakenham VIC 3810: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
