Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Rail Signalling Project Manager to join our team in either our Hunter Region or Sydney office.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of important rail infrastructure projects while working with a highly capable and collaborative team of signalling professionals.
About the Role
As a Rail Signalling Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of signalling projects, ensuring delivery against safety, quality, commercial and programme targets.
You will work across both signalling design and construction delivery environments, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working closely with clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities
* Managing the planning, execution and delivery of rail signalling projects
* Managing projects through design development, construction, testing and commissioning phases
* Leading multidisciplinary teams including signalling design engineers, construction teams, testers and commissioning staff
* Managing project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance
* Developing and maintaining project programmes and delivery schedules
* Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
* Ensuring compliance with rail safety, engineering assurance and regulatory requirements
* Managing project risk, variations and reporting
* Supporting tendering and business development activities where required
About You
We are looking for a signalling professional who understands the realities of rail project delivery and can lead teams to deliver successful outcomes.
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in project management, preferably within the rail signalling industry
* ARTC competency (essential)
* Demonstrated experience managing projects involving signalling design and/or signalling construction delivery
* Experience working with rail infrastructure clients such as:
* ARTC
* UGL Regional Linx
* Sydney Trains
* Transport for NSW
* Strong knowledge of rail signalling systems and project delivery environments
* Experience managing project cost, programme and risk
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
