Details: The ACT Government's Office of International Engagement is responsible for developing and promoting trade and export opportunities for Canberra businesses and works closely with the surrounding Local Government areas. The Director, Trade and Export is responsible for delivering the trade and export objectives of Canberra's International Engagement Strategy. The Director leads a small team, including the ACT's Trade start adviser. The position develops, delivers and maintains contracts associated with trade and export delivery, and is responsible for delivering export training, business development training, accelerating business growth and delivering export focused events. In a rapidly changing trade environment versatility and the ability to tailor practical advice is a must.
Eligibility/Other requirements: The position requires the successful applicant to have a Negative Vetting Level One (NV1) security clearance or be able to obtain such a clearance.
