Sales Director | South East Asia & ANZ | B2B Ingredients Sales into Food & Beverages Industry

Are you an experienced Sales Director with a passion for driving growth selling B2B Ingredients into the Food & Beverage industry? We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage and grow our commercial activities across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand targeting FMCG Manufacturers who cover multiple segments.
The role is an individual contributor position in nature, travelling the region, build long-term customer relationships, developing new revenue streams and delivering on revenue and profitability targets.
As part of our leadership team, you will develop and execute sales strategies across the SEA and ANZ regions targeting both multinational key accounts, and local manufacturers. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with solid account management and business development expertise.
Your new role
- Lead and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue growth with the Food and Beverage Manufacturing customers across the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders Global HQ has good existing relationships to leverage. Your goal will be to foster and organically grow the accounts.
- Conduct market analysis, monitor competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities that can be turned into new revenue streams by business development signing long-term supply relationships, or spot deals when required.
- Oversee contract execution, pricing strategies, and negotiations, work closely with Operations to ensure smooth S&OP; processes.
- Develop marketing plans for each segment and ensure alignment with corporate goals, with a dual reporting line to the regional HQ in Australia, and the Global Sales lead in the US.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and trade associations, networking and developing the opportunities to engage with plant / production decision makers and procurement leaders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in an executive Technical B2B sales role, selling ingredients in the Food or Beverage industry.
- Proven track record in a broad regional role with a track record across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand with both large multinationals, and local manufacturers.
- Proven track record in sales growth through strategic account management and new business development.
- Experience selling ingredients in alcoholic beverage manufacturing would be highly beneficial. However, any commodity-priced product sold to FMCG manufacturers will also be considered.
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with procurement functions in the sales lifecycle, as well as strong technical sales and communication skills to influence Plant / Production leaders.
- Ability to manage complex accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, and leverage any additional regional languages
