Role description
Thompson House Residential Care Unit are looking for a motivated, aspiring manager to join our team on an fixed term basis as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
If you are a Registered Nurse who:
* Has great interpersonal and communication skills
* Has sound nursing skills including infection control, assessment & care planning experience, and are familiar with Aged Care Quality Standards
* Like working in a happy environment and want to be a part of a team who provide amazing person-centered care, with support from a NUM
* The wish to end your work day with a strong sense of accomplishment & job satisfaction
The ANUM position creates opportunities to gain experience in an In-Charge position, and to lead and manage staff of the unit within a supportive environment.
About you
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent. Post graduate qualification where a specialty area requires this to fulfil the full duties of the position.
* Advanced assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills
* Experience or willingness to gain experience in frontline management
