About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to provide technical sales support and solution design across a range of audio visual and home technology projects. This role combines strong technical knowledge with client-focused sales, working across both residential and commercial environments.
The position is full-time and ongoing, supporting the growth of the business through professional technical consultation, solution development, and ongoing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Consult with clients to understand technical, functional, and budget requirements
* Provide technical sales advice across audio, video, control, and networking solutions
* Design and recommend appropriate audio visual systems and equipment
* Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and technical documentation
* Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations where required
* Liaise with installers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure correct system delivery
* Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
* Assist with system configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting as required
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AV technologies, products, and industry standards
* Support ongoing client relationships and repeat business opportunities
Skills & Experience (Required)
* Demonstrated experience in a technical sales or solutions-based sales role
* Strong working knowledge of audio visual systems and related technologies
* Ability to assess client requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Proven client-facing communication and relationship management skills
* Ability to work across office, showroom, and on-site environments
Qualifications & Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Essential)
* Formal qualifications in audio visual technology, electronics, or a related field
* Experience with AV integration, control systems, or system design
* Exposure to premium audio, home cinema, or professional AV environments
