One full‐time, ongoing vacancy. Apply your experience in regulatory compliance and your knowledge of the water regulatory framework to support the administration of the NT's Water Resources.
Responsibilities include preparing written documents that summarise complex information and make clear recommendations for licence decisions or regulatory actions, providing advice on the water regulatory framework and processes, undertaking compliance and regulatory inspections, developing and implementing operational policies, procedures and processes, and using information management systems to deliver water licences, permits and regulatory decisions that comply with the Water Act 1992.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in simplifying complex information by critical analysis, high‐quality technical writing skills, and the ability to understand and apply legislation related to the Water Act 1992.
