Shifts include:

* ASAP – December 21, 2025 x2FTE (Either interventional or Diagnostic Imaging Cardiologist)
">
* July 14, 2025 – August 3, 2025 x2FTE
">
* August 4, 2025 – December 21, 2025 x2FTE
">
* August 18, 2025 – October 2, 2025
">
* October 8, 2025 – October 12, 2025
">
* November 8, 2025 – December 7, 2025 (Either interventional or non-interventional)
">
">
We are seeking Cardiologists with expertise in either interventional or non-interventional cardiology, or strong diagnostic imaging (DI) skills.
">
Your role will be comprehensive, covering:
">
* Ward rounds (with support from PHO, BPT, and ATs)
">
* Clinics (both consultant-led and with registrar support)
">
* Triage
">
* On-call duties and after-hours ECG reporting (for Ward rounds or Cath lab rosters)
">
* Diagnostic Imaging Department rotations for those with skills in:
">
o TOE (Transoesophageal Echocardiogram)
">
o ESE/DSE (Exercise Stress Echo / Dobutamine Stress Echo)
">
o Echo (Echocardiography)
">
o cMRI (Cardiac MRI)
">
o CTCA (CT Coronary Angiogram)
">
">
* Management of Cath Lab procedures, including after-hours cases, in a 24/7 environment.
">
* Review of patient ECGs from external hospitals via an online application across two daily shifts.
">

To be considered for this position, you must have:

* Current AHPRA Registration

* Right to Work in Australia

* Specialist qualification in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with significant Cardiology experience

* Proficiency in interventional, non-interventional, and/or diagnostic imaging (TOE, ESE/DSE, Echo, cMRI, CTCA) as applicable
